February

I have been so busy lately, Jack had his 3rd birthday Feb. 10th, and then started school the following Monday. He was in school only a week when he was hit with rotavirus, which is a horrible stomach virus that made him so sick...so I have had my hands pretty full..

I finished Xian's beaded brushed baby alpaca scarf and sent it to her...and she loved it (yay!!) here is a pic of the scarf before I sent it, and a pic she sent me, with the SWEETEST note of thanks. (Like a scarf can compare witht he LAPTOP she gave me!! Love ya, Xian!!) Ain't she a gorgeous? :)

I also finished a Noro Kureyon beanie (with the star formation on top..I LOVE that!!) Modeling the hat is my husband Gabriel, but it is a present for Ricky, who is freezing up in Boston, and emails me guilt inducing messages about how his ears are falling off from lack of knitted hat. So I am sending this off to him, hoping he likes it. He is pretty pimp, so I have to make sure the hat fits his extremely high standards...

I am about to start another kitty hat, this one for a friend of Mica's...I picked out the yarn, a really beautiful shade of blue that will look amazing with her black hair.

So on my knitting to-do list is the kitty hat, a gorgeous scarf for myself from alpaca wool that will NEVER be done, and a funky scarf for my friend Molly, who lives in Canada....will post pics soon...

Wow! You're one busy knitter. Love the scarf! I'm sorry to hear about the rotovirus - I hear it can be devastating. But he's on the mend, yeah?

I love the scarf, I bet the Alpaca was really soft. And I like the sparkly beads too! Nice colours in the hat as well!
